How to Choose the Right Shoe Size: A 3-Step Guide
This guide explains how to measure your feet properly to find the correct size from a seller's size chart.
Step 1: Measure Your Foot Length
As shown in the diagrams, the most important step is to measure your actual foot length from heel to toe.
-
Stand with your heel placed firmly against a wall.
-
Measure the distance from the wall to the tip of your longest toe.
-
Important: Do not measure the insole or the outsole of an old pair of shoes. The measurement must be of your bare foot.
Step 2: Understand the Fit and "Space"
The diagram explains that the Insole Length (the inside of the shoe) is designed to be slightly longer than your actual Foot Length to provide comfortable space for your toes.
Step 3: Use the Size Chart
Once you have your foot length measurement, pay close attention to the seller's size table.
-
Find your measured foot length on the chart.
-
Use this to determine the suitable shoe size for you.
-
Finally, you can confidently decide which size to buy.
